Chastity Lock and Key is an independent, locally owned and operated, mobile locksmith company.

Owner Billysteve Korpi moved to Austin in 1988, and began working as a locksmith in 1994 under the tutelage of Charlie Runnels, aka Mercury Charlie. He has also played guitar in many and varied local bands. Currently, he can be seen performing with the The Crackpipes, Churchwood, and the Victims of Leisure, and fronting the gospel band Heaven’s Radio.

Billysteve’s wife, Laurie Rourke-Korpi, is an original Texas Rollergirl, and played an important part in beginning the Flat Track Rollerderby revival. She currently works as a Personal Trainer at Body Business Davenport, where she has recently begun teaching Yoga classes.

Billysteve was introduced to locksmithing by an old landlord of his who needed help with his property maintenance company. He provided the initial training, and Billysteve took it from there, spending the next several years working for Mercury Charlie’s company, and gaining experience in a wide range of residential and commercial security hardware.

In 2007, Billysteve was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia, and spent the next couple of years undergoing intense chemo therapy. Upon regaining his health, he decided it was time to start his own company, and, in May of 2011, Chastity Lock and Key was born.

Chastity Lock and Key is dedicated to providing quick, professional service at reasonable rates. We are members of the Associated Locksmiths of America, fully bonded and insured, and licensed by the Texas Private Security Board (Tx. Lic. # B17024).
